The P-47 Thunderbolt Advocates proudly present an evening of history, nostalgia, and memories featuring:
Guest Speaker: Bob Dalessandro
An Army veteran himself, Bob will speak about the World War II service of his father, 2nd Lt. Anze (Andy) Dalessandro. He was a C-47 troop transport pilot and participated in three of the largest airborne operations of the War: Operation Market Garden, Bastogne (Battle of the Bulge), and Operation Varsity.
Tour: C-47 Nose and M60 Tank
In lieu of a movie, Bob will lead visitors to the see the Museum’s C-47 nose, which is located next to the Wyble Library. He will also touch on his own service and the connections to the museum's M60 tank.
