This professional development workshop enables participants to learn to approach problems strategically, using critical thinking to break them down and find solutions. The learning objectives of this course include understanding the critical thinking process, recognizing the benefits and barriers to critical thinking, how to evaluate information using critical thinking skills and how to improve thinking skills with understanding the role of logic and reasoning. This is a 2-hour virtual class.
This free workshop is available through a partnership between the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant-funded training, but there are other options available. Participants who complete the entire duration of their classes will receive a professional development certificate of completion.
