Stephen Plevins Honored With Martin Luther King Jr. Award
Stephen Plevins was honored by the Vineland African American Community Development Corporation (VAACDC) with a Martin Luther King Award in recognition for his contributions to his community and his successful work with children of all denominations. The VAACDC, on behalf of the citizens of Cumberland County, honored Plevins as a "trailblazer and we salute his efforts to continue the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and the VAACDC." Thursday, January 09, 2025''A Legacy of Brushstrokes'' Art Exhibit Opens at Vineland Historical Society Museum
“A Legacy of Brushstrokes” exhibit is now on display at the Vineland Historical Society Museum, located at 108 South Seventh Street in Vineland. “Our exhibit focus this year will feature art of many types. We have begun with paintings. Throughout the year we shall also present other forms, including glass, music, pottery and jewelry,” said Valerie Neuber, President. The current exhibit opens January 11 and will continue through March 29, 2025. Art pieces from the museum collection will be exhibited.
