• Vineland Historical & Antiquarian Society Schedules Landmark City Trolley Tour April 26

    Hop on board the Vineland Landmark Trolley Tour scheduled for Saturday April 26,  with three tours planned.

    The Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society, in conjunction with Siloam Cemetery, The Palace of Depression and the Vineland Downtown Improvement District,  invite you to take an historic journey to learn more about Vineland’s history.

    Tours are planned 9 and 11:30 am and 2 pm.  Each tour group will meet at the Vineland Museum, 108 South Seventh Street, and board the trolley, which will proceed to Siloam Cemetery for an expert guided tour featuring the people and events of Vineland. 

    The trolley will continue to the Palace of Depression for a tour of the palace and the palace museum.  Trolley riders will also learn about the bizarre nature of its founder, George Daynor.

    The trolley will return to the Vineland Historical Society Museum for a tour and discussion of Vineland’s rich history and events which have had national significance.

    After the tour, groups are also invited to visit the stores and restaurants in downtown Vineland.

    Tickets are $30 per person and are available by visiting discovervinelandhistory.org and registering on the link provided.  The link is also on the VHAS Facebook page.  Questions may also be answered by calling 856-691-1111 and leaving a detailed message. Spaces are limited.  Early registration is suggested. 

    Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour. Rain date is Sunday, April 27. Sanitary facilities will be provided at each location.  Proceeds will benefit the museum, the cemetery and the palace, which are non-profit organizations.
